Install

Three steps. Then you are in.

We're a new platform and our installer isn't signed by Apple/Microsoft yet. This step is needed once.

  1. 01 Step 1

    Run the installer

    Open the downloaded installer and follow the steps on screen.

  2. 02 Step 2

    If Windows warns you

    Choose More info, then Run anyway. This happens once, because we are new and not yet signed.

  3. 03 Step 3

    Sign in and play

    Sign in with the account from your invite. Tactical Ops is one click away in the store.

    See what changed before you press Play. Updates download only the changes.

Why does Windows warn me about the installer?
Windows shows this for apps from publishers it does not know yet. Our installer is not signed by Microsoft yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.
Do I need an invite?
Yes, for now. Gameway is in early access, and accounts are created by invitation. If a friend sent you a link, open it to create your account.
Is Gameway free?
Yes. The app is free, and so is Tactical Ops.
Why does macOS block the first start?
Our app is not signed by Apple yet, so macOS cannot check it. The first time, choose Done, then System Settings › Privacy & Security › Open Anyway. You only do this once.
Where does Gameway install games?
On the first start you choose the folder for games, or keep the default one. You can change it later in Settings.
Does Tactical Ops use Gameway features yet?
Yes. Tactical Ops starts through Gameway, and inside the game you get the friends panel in the main menu (Join and Chat), invites from the pause menu and the Gameway overlay.
