Every night people come up to the counter window. A pensioner brings his father's watch, a student pawns a phone until payday, and a shady guy in a cap offers an almost-new player, "no box". Some of them tell the truth. The items lie less, if you know how to look.

Your shift

• Inspect items. Turn them over, sweep the loupe across every detail, and look for worn hallmarks, crooked logos, fresh paint and filed-off serial numbers.
• Use your tools. A UV lamp reveals hidden marks and touch-ups, scales give away a light fake, acid tests the gold, and a police database checks serial numbers.
• Haggle. Every customer has a temper and a limit. Push too hard and they leave offended.
• Buy or lend. If a customer redeems a pledge, you earn the interest. If they don't, the item goes on the shelf.
• Settle up in the morning. The appraiser writes off fakes, and the police seize stolen goods and fine you. Then pay for the lights and the rent, feed Semyon the cat and buy your uncle's medicine.

In this Early Access build (v0.6)

• An intro: an evening at home, a call from your uncle and a walk through the snowy district to your shift.
• A 30-night calendar with story visits in the first week, Boris coming to collect every week, and 4 endings.
• Procedural customers: six archetypes and hundreds of faces built from hand-drawn parts.
• 30 item types with 3 models each: watches, rings, chains, phones, laptops, consoles, CRT TVs, players, cameras, drills, hair dryers, guitars, accordions, samovars and more. Each item has its own signs of forgery, theft and wear.
• Pawn loans with interest, haggling, a morning report and shelf sales.
• Hand-drawn 2D art, lo-fi radio in the shop and the sounds of a night street.

Early Access. We're writing the story for weeks 2–4, evenings at home between shifts, and Windows and SteamOS versions. The game is currently in Russian only.
